From a life pieced together by discarded scraps, torn fragments and hardship, American Robin Brown built Magnolia Pearl in 2002 out of sheer hope. These humble beginnings have provided the foundation for a genuinely unique and passionate art project.
Robin’s “labour of love” takes its inspiration from many sources: Americana, artisan craftsmanship, romanticism, perfect imperfection, Victoriana, sustainability, her grandmother’s handed down collection of vintage pieces, the wild west of her home state of Texas. These influences combine to create one-of-a-kind pieces that are, essentially, wearable art.
Magnolia Pearl’s philosophy centres around seasonless pieces and the brand does not create “collections”. Instead, it chooses to constantly produce new designs in limited runs using natural fibres that have been globally sourced. Each piece is handcrafted with love and enormous attention to detail.
With a style that is impossible to define, Magnolia Pearl appeals to the free-spirited woman who, like the brand, has no fashion boundaries.
